LOL. Back in the early 2000’s I was a Deputy Marriage Commissioner in Nevada. I had people who tripled that number easily. I had one guy on his 7th marriage who only wanted me to “pronounce” them married. He didn’t want the "Love, hold, cherish, till….., no love, honor, obey, the bride walked out and waited in the car, groom went out and talked to her, finally just before we closed, they came back in and wanted the “bare minimum” to be married. I did, I’ve often wondered if that marriage lasted more than a month.
I hope she’s just displaying surprise that someone who’s been married two times before is now entitled to a discount. If she never knew that he’s been twice-married, she’d be smart to run.
I can just hear how he popped the question: “Come on, honey, let’s get married today — I have a coupon!”
