I had a A.C. Gilbert Erector Set when I was 12. Bought more parts to upgrade it to a 10 1/2. (Those of you who had them will recognize the level numbers all including 1/2). 66 years later I wish I still had it (real metal parts, not plastic) to make artful constructions of Platonic solids and such.
