That’s pretty impressive for a comic that was occasionally mildly amusing for the section of society who worked in offices. Best character was the Imp for Heck.
Funny what “free speech” is allowed and what isn’t. Lot’s of double standards and mock outrage.. me thinks. I liked the cartoon and wish GoComics would bring it back.
I always liked “Dilbert” and still do. It’s a great commentary on office life that’s basically apolitical, its regular sarcasm directed at universal human foibles. I read it directly at dilbert.com. It doesn’t bother me that its creator is a flaming racist, sexist, and fascistic revanchist. He makes funny stuff, which I appreciate on its own merits.
The art is not the artist. The creation is not the creator. The sooner we all figure that out, the closer we’ll get to being civilized.
“Free speech” refers to government censorship, not what happened here. I too will mis Dilbert.
One of my favorites was when Alice, arguing w/ Pointy Hair Boss, says “Just check the facts.” Pointy Hair Boss, says, “That sound like something a guilty person would say.” (!)Scott Adams should just check the facts.

Adams has been right wing for a long time. I didn’t know he was also racist until he went full-frontally public.

I already miss Dilbert. What happened? Did the author just up and quit?

Dilbert was once among my favorite strips. It ceased being funny a number of years ago.
