The definition of Transphobic means you are irrationally afraid of “Trans” people. Please explain why saying that saying you identify as a woman does not make yo a woman constitutes being irrationally afraid of “trans” people. Having questions and doubting claims should not make you a pariah.

I missed all this stuff. I don’t think I’ll bother to look it up.

LOTS of out of touch scribblers here. McFadden is openly referencing the recent open letter (signed by many NYT reporters and contributors) calling out the anti-trans bias in the NYT. The NYT responded to this letter by threatening those who signed it, as well as running an editorial comparing responses to JKR’s transphobia with the fatwa and physical attacks on Salman Rushdie. He is also satirizing the Times fawning coverage of MAGA extremists during and the Trumpf maladministration. But attacking The Paper Of Record is a bridge too far for the Extreme Middle.
