Let’s start with the 3 wars the GOP got us into over the last 30 years (which cost TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS). Then 2017 tax cuts that benefited the top 2% of income earners and work our way from there. The GOP did nothing to address deficits and reckless revenue cuts. The intentionally created a problem that they now want to address by cutting expenses (eg, Social Security, and other entitlement programs). The Democrats passed spending bills that will actually benefit ALL of Americans.

Is inflation up? Yes. Every economist predicted it as far back as Trump’s term. Is it coming down? Yes.

    Stop your whining.

America is living in a Golden Age. Just look at those stores full of plenty; all the food you can imagine is available, not to mention houses, cars, clothes, luxuries beyond comprehension, vacations, schools and hospitals, and still you’re whining.

    Americans are spoiled brat babies.

GDP is up for one short period, don’t get too excited yet. The Fed is still contemplating interest rate hikes to curb inflation, i.e., making it more difficult for companies to invest in new tech, etc. Employment levels are “too high” & people are making too much money that they spend on goods thus bringing prices up = inflation. Janet Yellen is visiting other countries telling their leadership that they must pay down their out of control debt. (Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.) We are actually in the best of times til’ after the next national election because with control of the legislative branch of the government split we can rely on the fact that nothing stupid is will get done in Washington, DC.

Blame Biden for the bird flu? That makes as much sense as anything else the followers of the orange con-man say.

Look. You can point at all the squirrels you want here. Show me all the crap articles from liberal sources you want. EGGS ARE 8.99. gas is a dollar more than it was when he took office. Restaurant menus online can’t even keep up with how fast prices are changing.

Let’s see, two years ago I would go to the grocery store and it would look like something out of the Soviet Union. Empty shelves, people hoarding what they could find, people trying to deal with a lack of basic common necessities.

We went shopping yesterday. Didn’t even have a full cart. Cost near $400. But at least they had everything we needed!

And it forced us to shop smart. “Do I really need this?” “Is there a better deal?”

Is it better now? I’d say so. But that’s because I like to be able to buy things like toilet paper.

“President Biden abused his power to sell our oil, reduce gas prices, so that the midterm elections would swing Democrats’ way. It’s a shame to trick the American people just to win an election. No president should be able to use their emergency powers for politics.” MTG

Democratic Rep. Ted Lieu responded to Greene’s griping saying that…

“I can summarize this debate of the last two days into one sentence: Joe Biden lowered your gas prices and Republicans are upset about it. That’s what this is about. Joe Biden lowered your gas prices and that makes Republicans mad. And how do we know? They said it out loud. The gentlewoman from Georgia earlier this morning just said that Joe Biden lowered your gas prices for political reasons. You know, I don’t care why a president lowers your gas prices. If any president can lower your gas prices, we should support that president’s action.”

Rep. Lieu was just getting started. He continued saying that…

“There’s another reason this Republican bill is so stupid. Because not only did Joe Biden lower your gas prices, the United States of America made a profit on it. Buy low, sell high. It was brilliant what Joe Biden did. He released the Strategic Petroleum Reserves when gas prices were high, and that helped lower the gas prices. And then he refilled it at the lower amount. The U.S. made $4 billion dollars on Joe Biden’s actions. The Republicans always want to say ’Let’s run government like a business.’ Joe Biden did exactly that when he lowered your gas prices, and then made a $4 billion dollar profit for the United States of America.”

Going shopping, so I’ll have to wait to comment on egg prices. So far, the free range and cage free egg prices hasn’t been effected as much. Likely, because the bird flu doesn’t spread in those environments as fast as the factory egg farms.

Maybe if your employers paid a living wage people wouldn’t be struggling. Also price gouging does not help.
