During the Trump regime, he had trifecta on the house and senate to pass anything they wanted. Ah, now, if the Dems had their foot in the door on one of those, when Trump tried to push through his tax cuts for the wealthy and corporate donors, the Dems could have given those special interests “thoughts and prayers”.
