Regarding the 2017 reruns of “Agnes”, I contacted GoComics to ask. They referred me to Creators which replied with this:
Tony Cochran has retired from making new Agnes strips, and so we are running what we call “classics” (the strips that have been previously published).
if this is in 2017 – i see it became true now in 2023
A response somewhere between “Thanks”, and “Buzz off”. “Acknowledged” or “So noted” are the first two that come to mind.
My opinion about the reruns. They are being arbitrary. I think six years seems to be kind of recent to be considered “classic”. They could have gone further back to do a restart. Oh well, what we see is what we get.
I’d like to see the strips run from the beginning. Then we can see Agnes’s evolution from weird to awkward AND weird
The feet had to make it into the strip somehow.
