Are you saying that LGBTQ chose hockey players? The Philly Flyers held a pride event and one player refused to wear his pre-game warm-up jersey. Missed by a lot, Lester.
I think it’s fine not to wear an alphabet jersey. But it has NOTHING to do with being white. That’s just a weird connection, Mike, which, sadly, again reflects badly on you.
I have no problem with not celebrating gender-bending issues. This is one issue that both the left and the right get wrong. The right demonizes them. Which, for folks like Mike, is just par for the course. Hate runs in his veins.
But the positive emphasis placed on gender stuff by the left is equally dumb. Why would we celebrate this aspect of the human condition?
And, with transgendered people, my goodness leave them alone to do what they feel they have to. Accept them, love them as full human beings. But they’re not at all worthy of celebration. In fact, I think the whole trans thing is just plain sad. But that’s just me, a cis male, whatever that is!
And, for the record, I also believe trans men and shouldn’t compete with non trans athletes. It’s just not fair. As to bathrooms, it’s just not that big a deal.
Gay and trans folks are fine in all their various permutations. But leave it at that. This is a HUGE liability to the Democrats.
Lester is besides himself, the GOP has their very own drag queen in Santos and he doesn’t know how do an insult toon without it reflecting poorly on the GOP so he picks this non important event. He still doesn’t understand ithat t’s not how a person dresses, it’s the person’s moral caracter that’s important.
Reading this comment makes me think of Mr. Creosote’s common response.
“I never know what this guy is talking about?”
I mean, I get that some hockey player didn’t want to wear a pride jersey or whatever, but who is the person at the bar talking about, and what is the elephant talking about? I don’t get it.
Ivan Provorov of the Philadelphia Flyers opted not to skate during warm-ups, which is when the team was to wear the LGBTQ+ sweaters. Provorov is a devout Russian Orthodox Christian. Rather than wear the rainbow sweater or do warm-ups in a regular sweater, he simply stayed off the ice for the 10 minutes, thinking that was the least conspicuous way to handle the situation. He has since been attacked by the LGBTQ+ mafia and their allies and labeled as a homophobe, hater, fascist, and all the other usual things. Funny, that, coming from the gang that demands unquestioned fealty to their belief system or they will do everything they can to ruin your life.
While all that I know about this issue is from gocomics, I probably don’t have the most progressive opinion on this one. I believe in tolerance. I support tolerance. But there’s a difference between tolerance and celebration. I don’t support mandatory celebration.
Mike’s toon has two points here. The right to the freedom of expression of one’s ideology and who’s judged, and how for it, based on their position in our society. Great toon Mike.
Ever notice there’s never a “CHRIST IS LORD” night? Ever wonder why? Because it’s our right as free people w freedom of choice who and what you want to believe in America and what you don’t. Have a nice night. -ML

Shouldn’t this toon be entitled ‘The Ignoramus in the Bar’ ( after Lester )?
