My cats also complain if there bowl gets below a certain level.

When the cats complain about “the hole” I scoop the remaining food into a heap in the middle of the dish and then they happily continue eating!

Yes the shake the bowl method works too. Pippi is such a critic.

I get that from 9 to 14 cats twice a day, depending upon which feral cats show up.
