Rover says – or thinks – “Quiet but painful” which shows that he likes having a quieter day. He finds it painful that he doesn’t know where to pee because he can’t be guided by his usual sense of smell to find where other dogs pee. He doesn’t seem to have much of a memory for peeing.

Red is home and can now sniff out the right place to go. That should confuse the neighbors.
