They’ve always been anti-American. And to an extent it works, because short-sighted voters think “They hate the same people I hate.”

But when it comes to these terrorist economic hostage tactics, they hurt America and hurt their chances of getting reelected.

Let’s just hope they realize it sooner rather than later.

30 percent federal sales tax on top of states sales taxes. And you thought you paid too much in taxes already. Leave it to the Republicans to increase taxes on the workers and the poor, while cutting taxes on the wealthy to about nothing. At the same time, stealing your social security and medicare from everyone that has paid into the system for their entire life. Yup, Republicans want to run America like a business, where you have to pay 80 percent of your income in taxes.

The GQP declared economic war on the middle class almost as long ago as the GOP did on the poorest classes. Now the middle class is almost that poor. Can you keep from being financially devasted if you get really sick or have to go without a paycheck for several months? Medical debt is the #1 for USA personal bankruptcy and we are still waiting on their healthcare plan that 4 plus years ago was just 2 or 3 weeks away. But the medical/pharmaceutical industry still makes record profits while Americans choose between insulin and other meds or paying the rent/mortgage or feeding themselves and their family. And does anyone know what food insecurity is in the greatest nation?

They want budget cuts. Let’s treat them like the deadbeats that they are. Garnish their wages to get the money.

According to the general conservative consensus, Democrats are responsible for all Republican attempts to devalue their existence, including stripping Medicare and Social Security from their lives.

There’s the rub… the demands are to break the government and get their names on the front page, so either way, they win.

This is the truly sad part…at ONE TIME, the Republicans actually WERE the party that cared about American Workers AND their families. Want proof??? Here is an excerpt from a speech by REPUBLICAN U.S. Senator Daniel J. Morrell of Pennsylvania, made during his first term is Congress back in 1866:

“The American workingman must live in a house, not a hut; he must wear decent clothes and eat wholesome and nourishing food. He is an integral part of the municipality, the State, and the Nation; subject to no fetters of class or caste; neither pauper, nor peasant, nor serf, but a free American citizen.”

“He has the ballot, and if it were possible it would be dangerous to degrade him. The country stands pledged to give him education, political power, and a higher form of life than foreign nations accord their laborers, and he must be sustained by higher rates of wages than those of Europe. Our industries operated by American citizens must be freed from foreign interference and organized into a distinct American system, which will exact some temporary sacrifices but result in general prosperity and true national independence. In maintaining diversified industries we utilize every talent, provide a field for every capacity, and bind together the whole people in mutual dependence and support, assuring the strength and security of our Republic.”

What the heck happened to the Republican Party to turn it into the gang of clowns and traitors that it has become today????

And then… REPUBLICAN President Abraham Lincoln somehow saw what was coming as early as 1838…

“At what point shall we expect the approach of danger? By what means shall we fortify against it?— Shall we expect some transatlantic military giant, to step the Ocean, and crush us at a blow? Never!—All the armies of Europe, Asia and Africa combined, with all the treasure of the earth (our own excepted) in their military chest; with a Bonaparte for a commander, could not by force, take a drink from the Ohio, or make a track on the Blue Ridge, in a trial of a thousand years.”

“At what point then is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us, it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide.”

“I hope I am over wary; but if I am not, there is, even now, something of ill-omen, amongst us. I mean the increasing disregard for law which pervades the country; the growing disposition to substitute the wild and furious passions, in lieu of the sober judgment of Courts; and the worse than savage mobs, for the executive ministers of justice. This disposition is awfully fearful in any community; and that it now exists in ours, though grating to our feelings to admit, it would be a violation of truth, and an insult to our intelligence, to deny. Accounts of outrages committed by mobs, form the every-day news of the times.”

Always keep in mind in dealing with Republicans that they WANT a recession and major problems of any other kind to happen, even if they have to cause it. They do not have a plan to govern or even want to govern. They want issues to gin up their ignorant base and keep them in office so they can keep their fancy jobs and get richer.
