The really sad part is the Republican-minded never once make the time or effort to educate themselves, empathize, or even meet a Transgender person before forming an opinion on something they have determined from consensus from others just as ignorant as they are about what being Transgender actually means.
Grandma’s kitchen, in the city, had a spring door to keep cooking odors from permeating the furniture and fixtures in the rest of the house … and it likely saved our lives as my mother noticed the smell of gas one morning when she cracked the door open, long ago, in the late ‘40s. We crawled out of the house on hands and knees and called the fire department from the next-door neighbor’s house to shut off the gas and make sure it was safe to go back inside. That stove went to the dump that weekend and our family has used electric stoves ever since — even on the family farm once it was electrified in 1950 and the woodshed was torn down.
Both need proper ventilation to be safe inside your house. One may stink more but the other is deadly to you and your family. Truth twisting is the only thing extremist right wing propagandists are good at. Please keep using your gas stove unventilated just to own the libs and no dirty libs will ever take away your lead dinnerware, that’s for sure.
