Our dogs always thought they needed to help me take out the trash and I allowed it until the day we surprised a skunk near the dumpster. All of us retreated and none of us were sprayed, a fact for which I am grateful.
My Boy (Avatar) wouldn’t give me a choice about taking out the trash, he’d be out the doggy door and waiting for me by the time I got out the door …… great memories ……. :)
