Do not expect rational political comics when the environment is filled with extreme partisanship and hatred.

There are now Americans that would revert to the exclusive, authoritarian, church-state, monarchy that We The People once fought (and won) a revolutionary war against — to create our constitutional quasi-democratic* republic that was to provide equal opportunity/justice for all, unimpeded by the partisanship in the UK that divided its populace. It is alarming that the is no pro-republic activist movement to restore full functionality in both chambers of Congress.

* The Electoral College, ideally, would prevent a populist leader from derailing our functional collaborative compromising/consensual Congress from legislating for all of We The People.
