It’s been a while since I had an excuse to clarify that some goblins have the ability to write in English. Albeit, with terrible spelling and grammar.
How to say “Sorry” in goblin language…
Is it just one word repeated over and over?
Today’s strip reminds me of the Halloween story arc in which Phoebe went trick-or-treating as a dragon and greeted Marigold:
Phoebe: Rarr! Rarr! Rarr! Rarr! Rarr!
Marigold: Todd would say you’re stereotyping dragons.
Phoebe: Todd would say, “Rarr!”
I’m waiting for Marigold to come into this story arc but I’m also enjoying having a goblin back in this strip after a long absence.
What, is it not simply page after page of “blart”?
Translating the “BLART” in panel one as, “My masterpiece. Read it and weep.”
Dakota has a point.
Didn’t Dakota say that all goblins are kinda the same last week?
Say what you want, but to me it’s nice that Dakota is giving Phoebe lessons in tolerance. She changed really a lot!
He seems pretty friendly.. considering that a goblin’s alignment is classified as “Neutral Evil”..
Their language is pretty minimalist. I guess it’s not that weird to think their writing might be the same.
“I expected it to be the word Blart written over and over tbh”
It says something when Dakota is more culturally senstive than Phoebe. Might want to throw a cookie basket with that apologie Phoebes.
I didn’t expect it to be so blartfully done.
Ooh, the Goblin Anti-Defamation League is gonna blaart Phoebe back to the stone age.
Just so long as the credited author isn’t Bret Easton Ellis.
racist against goblins? Whats next phoebe? cultural appropriation?
