When they held my brother back, everyone knew since he landed in my class.

The last thing Kevin needs is to be stuck in another class with Maxine.

Maxine’s pituitary problem only makes her look like she’s been held back 5 years running. It’s really only been 4 years. And counting.

It’s kind of hard to conceal that you’re in the same class you were in last year…

Back in grade school, we had a guy (Eddie O.) who was rumored to have been held back more than once. I’m pretty sure he was shaving by the time he was in the third grade, although probably not by the first time. He just sort of disappeared by the fourth grade and I’ve always wondered whether he ended up in prison like we all expected him to.

I remember there was this one kid in my class who was shaving before we were even in middle school.
