Just add the words Freedom or Integrity to any atrocious plan or establishment and it has instant acceptability

surgical strike = bombing

police action = undeclared war

WMDs = whatever you want it to mean

defending the homeland = invading somewhere else

defence = war

enforcing a no-fly-zone = bombing

friendly fire = dead allies

blue on blue = dead allies

boots on the ground = war
