I miss Delta, too. Greg is reported to have said that he couldn’t think of any more stories for her, but that was after he turned her into a holier-than-thou eco-warrior. Delta was also Luann’s wingwoman, as was Bernice. There was no need to make Delta more than that. When you consider how little he has used Dez or the androgynous way Bets is characterized I wonder if Greg is afraid of trying to write a Black character.
