Kyrsten Sinema was trying to decide between the donkey and the elephant, so she decided to go with … the snake.

Still, she will align with Democrats, likely continue to vote with Democrats most of the time (90% voting record with Democrats, though those remaining 10% can be aggravatingly frustrating) and will keep her committee positions as long as she continues to do that.

This is her way of heading off a primary challenge.

Sinema has announced that she’s no longer a Democrat (like it wasn’t obvious).

IMHO, Lake and Sinema are two attention-seeking (redacted).

“Look At ME!!!” “Look at ME!!!” “Oh, WHY isn’t everyone looking at me?”

Is there something in Arizona water?

I’m not a fan of hers, but why such teeth gnashing regarding her? After all, she’s not the only “apostate”. Does the same occur with Sanders, King? Like them, she’ll still caucus with the Democrats.

She made a decision that she thought would increase her chances at reelection. I think it was a foolish one, but it was hers to make.

    Werewolf?? More like a Were-Rat.

She accepted the financial and political support of the Democratic constituency, to get elected, then when she’s in, drops her trousers and craps on those who helped.

She should make a fact finding mission to Myanmar. Solo.

The endless parade of poor losers…don’t they have any pride, or professionalism? If they only knew the picture they present to the world! Pitiful! ☹️

Sinema represents Big Pharma and corporate interests more than her constituents. We will see if her switch to “independent” will change her voting pattern to end up aligning more with Republicans. Considering the recent elections in AZ, there is hope for a REAL Dem to run in the primary in 2024. The Dems would need to constantly point out her bowing to Pharma and corporate interests, reminding people about the need to control drug prices and raise corporate taxes and taxes on the wealthy.

The Repubs want to focus on “investigations” rather than do anything about the issues they claimed were important. This is the same thing they did in 2010 – during campaigns they claimed JOBS as their number one priority but the day after the election McConnell announced their top priority was to limit President Obama to one term. Dems need better messaging and to focus on things that matter to people and they need to LOUDLY quote the plans from the Repubs about reducing Social Security and Medicare and their plans to allow states to ban birth control.

K S is only looking after #1, herself. She thinks this will save her in navigating the political waters of weirdness in AZ.

Walker would have won had the polls stayed open long enough to get the vampire/werewolf vote. Republicans shot themselves in the foot (again) by not keeping the polls open till midnight.

For the longest time I have known people who thought she was from Maine. I asked them why and they said she always only voted for “ME” I gently explained it to them that it was never for that state and that those letters were never capitalized nor an abbreviation

I think Georgia, and USA, has an even worse problem with MTG. The witch just noted if Steve Bannon and her had organized the 1/6/21 storming of the Capitol it would have been successful. I can’t believe that she can get away with this stupid posturing, however, maybe it’s not posturing. Maybe she actually believes herself to be a leader to lead an uprising in America to set herself up as dictator. Scary in any way. Also treasonous and she should be held accountable, but the GQP are too timid.

Would be a good time for Bernie to actually become a Democrat and not just for Presidential primaries.

It always amazes me when Dems are confused why a man from West Virginia votes like a man from West Virginia and a women from Arizona votes like she’s from Arizona. Is her grandstanding really that much different than, during the attempted Obamacare repeal, literally giving the thumbs down in the middle of the Senate floor for all to see?
