There was no Russian gate. The trump campaign met with Russians in trump tower. Manafort, trump’s campaign manager, was a Russian stooge.

I hope you understand that the Post is a tabloid, full of all sorts of trash.

It’s such a shame that the conservatives still haven’t learned what evidence is. Benghazi, Benghazi, Hillary!!

Goodness gracious, that laptop has been in all sorts of hands, mostly motivated anti-Biden ones, show us some felonies!!! You lot have been on about it and had your chance to tell us all the lurid details for over three years now but so far it has been simply the lap top of a troubled addict telling stories about his powerful dad. So? Oh, and it has been in other hands and had things added to it that weren’t from Hunter. Got any evidence of real crimes? I mean other than the ones you create in your mind palace everytime “The Big Guy” is mentioned? You do know Hunter is an addict right? And you know that addicts lie and brag right? Get on with it already! If you got evidence present it. Enough of you have copies of the thing, seems like if there was anything but innuendo and hearsay you would have trumpeted it to the world but instead you say it needs to be investigated. Show us the beef!

Yet, the laptop was known prior to the election. Were Biden voters suddenly going to say, “I no longer wish to vote for him and would prefer an ignorant, lying, grifting, egoist to have a second term” just because of some genitalia pix?

There are so many things wrong with this whole story, First off. Facebook and Twitter are not news organizations. At best they aggregate news stories, but they do not do any reporting or analysis. Actual news organizations did report on the Biden Laptop. I read about them in both the Washington Post and The New York Times in 2020. What they reported was that a laptop reportedly belonging to Hunter Biden was found. No one was sharing what was actually on it (at the time, true) and the chain of custody was so sketchy (still true today) that it was hard to tell truth from fiction.

If someone was trying to kill the story, they failed miserably.

Now social media, at the time, was under pressure for not monitoring misinformation on their platforms. There was a concern that the Russians were actively trying to interfere with US elections (they were) and the FBI warned them to watch out for it. This is not government interference, it’s a PSA. Both Mr. Dorsey and Mr. Zuckerberg have stated that there was no government interference with their platforms. They both stated that the story sounded fishy, so they flagged it for misinformation.

Then there is the contents of this laptop. That hard drive has been in someone’s possession for years. It’s been gone over and over. I think we pretty much know what’s on it and I have to ask: If it’s so bad that people want to suppress it, why haven’t we heard what the earth shattering story? Are you asking us to believe that the Republicans are holding back that information for future use?

My guess it that the hope was that the appearance of a scandal would sink the Biden Campaign, and it didn’t. So now you guys need another one. The problem is that the only people buying it are, well, people like you.
