GC currently has an interesting glitch, and it’s now 5 minutes past rollover. The comics have updated, but my ‘My Comics’ page hasn’t, it’s still displaying Tuesdays date and comics. The arrow links to ‘next day’ are working on the individual strips so I can see the new strips, though the main ‘Next Day’ arrow at the top is still greyed out. Also, when I refreshed this TC page to show Wednesdays strip just after the rollover time it brought up the right date, but no strip. It took two minutes to show the strip after further refreshes, but my ‘My Comics’ page was still displaying the 29th. It’s all updated and working now, it took about seven or eight minutes to propagate through, but my point is that it looks like GC are still having issues with their backend, so I would expect further problems in the near future.
Another one of my smoke detectors went off this afternoon. That three in November. I’m thinking they were all installed at the same time and I can expect more to screech. Just so they don’t start at 3AM.
When I got home from work last night, I saw a cat in my back yard who looked just like Annie. Even though I knew there was no way that Annie could have gotten out of my house, I still could not rest until I got in the house and saw Annie in my living room. I sure hope the cat I saw in my yard was not another throw away cat. And I especially hope it isn’t a throw away unspayed female cat. I don’t want another litter of feral kittens born in my garage. And what kind of monster dumps cats anyway when winter is upon us? It’s COLD out there! I took food and water out to my garage for the cat, but at 22 degrees F, it won’t take long for that water to freeze. I hope the cat finds it out there.
It’s a bluff. I don’t think that was Chesney’s “innermost” thought. That one is right on the surface for all to see. I’m sure his innermost thought is leaning more toward world domination.
Yes, Chesney, your secret is safe. Mainly because it’s not much of a secret to begin with. At least he seemed to feel bad about what he had done. (Although he could have been faking it.) On another note, saw four juncos, three varied thrushes, and a wren while out walking today.
