I consider this practice for dealing with a whiny baby

If your socks hurt, you have a serious problem, and it has nothing to do with feet…

He can’t taste anything? It’s a preview for covid-19! But yeah, he is a cranky old man. Thankfully my husband doesn’t want to be babied when he’s sick, although he does complain non-stop.

Hello Cathy friends! Happy Thursday! Have a healthy day, all!

I never wine or complain when I am sick. I do complain about a stuffy nose though.

The selfless, nurturing mother phase often only lasts through the second child. :)

With the first child every move is precious, with the second child every other move is novel. With additional children, keeping them all from accidentally killing themselves or destroying the house does not leave much room for pure sentiment. :)

Of course, men can go right into cranky any day the traffic lights are not with them on the commute home. :)

I have no idea why women marry and/or live with these guys.

About a month ago, I guy I had only known casually for a very short time started insisting I move in with him. I couldn’t believe it. Despite the fact we’ve never dated and there is nothing romantic between us, he said he was sure I was the woman for him, despite my being more than old enough to be his mother. I assume he was trying to scam me out of money or expected me to be his mommy and take care of him. I kept telling him I wasn’t even the least bit interested but he wouldn’t leave me alone, kept telling me how wonderful my life would be with him.

It got to the point I was really getting afraid of him. I have been avoiding him ever since.

“Cranky” old men are not a joke. They are dangerous and cause incredible suffering.

Ok, I am not a good patient when I am sick but I am nowhere near as bad as Irving otherwise I would be cranky for the next 3 months or so and that would take too much energy.

It is the day before Friday again. I hope everyone is enjoying this fine day.

Here’s a question: why do I have to wait until I’m old before I’m cranky???

I prefer to just crawl away into my own room when I’m sick.
