Irving cleans up nicely. He looks very dapper! Cathy looked fantastic until she added all the extra layers. Although I can relate as I feel cold a lot, haha. “Wow” is pretty accurate, Irving, although it would be fun to unwrap Cathy, like a gift.

Unless the heater is broken, then, yes, Cathy, it’s on, but it depends on how far away he lives as to whether or not the car has had enough time to warm up inside before he got there. But even if it isn’t just yet, you’re more than prepared clothing-wise until it is so don’t worry about it and just enjoy your big New Year’s Eve date out instead. Given how nicely you and Irving are dressed, I’m sure that it’s going to be a really wonderful evening of dinner, dan-cing and champagne-toasting to the coming year ahead for the both of you! ♥

The fireworks went off really well last night as the temperature was just about at freezing and there was very little wind. I did have one tiny issue – I slipped after the fuse caught on one pack and managed to plunge my lighter into the snow. Fortunately I was not in any danger – I can move really fast when there is a lit fuse behind me. Luckily my son-in-law, who was helping me, had another lighter. Some of the people around the bay went all out – their displays lasted almost 30 minutes. It was quite the sight to see so many people taking part this year.
I hope you had a fun evening last night and are relaxing today. We all need a little rest before we tackle this brand new year.
Happy New Year everyone…Cathy could have skipped the slinky little black dress and just worn something more appropriate for the weather. I have a couple of beautiful corduroy/velvet black dresses with sleeves and long enough to wear pretty knee socks with. That’s as dressed up as I care to get.
