Easiest way to become rich, is be born into wealth.

…and still poor…yeah, we get it!

Seen a lot of rich kids miss the bus, so to speak.

“The poor will always be with us.” Therefore, it must be the Divine Plan for the poor to make the well-off better off. /s

People don’t save and invest and spend way too much for things they have to rent storage lockers for!! Other than a 401(K), I put a day’s pay into an S&P 500 mutual fund. Worked great. And before you tell me about losing all your money in a 401(K), you don’t lose till you cash in. Also in Oct 2008, the S&P was 1700 (inflation adjusted), Oct 2022, it was 3800. How is that a loss?

So.. you made a series of poor choices. And now, you want those that did, to support you. Sorry. With very few exceptions.. a young (healthy) person starting 60~70 years ago has no excuse not to be financially secure now. Sadly, that is no longer true with today’s youth..but certainly was.

and why are you poor? …because a very few people are ridiculously rich

When I was young, I was poor, too. But, now that I’m old, well, I’m relatively wealthy. My mother used to say, she made more money when she retired than when she worked.

His finances are an open question

The hardest workers get paid the least.

I started with nothing and I still have most of it.

Seeing a capitalist con-man isn’t going to help. He’ll just lose it all in the next “business cycle”
