Ham quit the drums? Since when? He could never pass up the opportunity to make a ton of noise.

Get him tested for ADHD. He is always moving, jumping off the walls, getting bored quickly, and jumping from one activity to another constantly. Classic ADHD.

Darryl, what about that drone gathering dust on the shelf, the golf lessons, your one-chapter-so-far novel from five years ago?

A little easier on Hammies sugary treats might help!

Tough one for a parent. Wanting to teach commitment yet also wanting a child to experience as much as possible in order to actually find their talent… Glad I am not a parent! Bless those that are : )

I’ll have to remember Darryl’s line for my wife. She has a lot of artistic talent and has moved from medium to medium and refuses to throw out the old supplies. She’s currently in into quilting which has lasted longer than the other adventures. She also does photography which is the longest carried involvement. Thank goodness for digital cameras as the cost has been reduced significantly since she can print only what she wants rather that having to develop a whole 36 shot roll of film to see how the shots came out.

Hammie is the epitome of Mark Twains philosophy, “If at first you don’t succeed try try again, then quit. No use being a D@mn Fool about the thing.”

It turns out Wren already knows jui-jitsu from watching it on TV

The cartoonist would also have to commit to this being a regular part of the strip. You can’t just get excited for a week and then quit.

It had to wait until he was 10, but my younger cousin has really found his niche with martial arts. Sometimes it takes a while!
