This reminds me of an Archie strip I read but couldn’t comment on even though I have a Discus comment. Archie’s going to his dad for something; and his dad says whatever it is, the answer’s no; and I don’t know if the last panel showed a speech bubble or a thought bubble; but his dad is saying that he’s curious what the question was. I would’ve said Archie wanted to know if it’s alright to do the dishes and mow the lawn all the time; but since you said no, that doesn’t bother him.

And get your shoes off the furniture!

I sort of felt like school was my job. I earned a little down time. Now I have a real job and I still have to do chores. I imagine even cave men had to clean out the cave occasionally.

Man, that’s two mean looking dudes.

And I’m sure this has to be repeated several times, each time louder….☺️

My favorite part of “Close to Home” is the “shirt eating”. The father in the doorway is chowing down. Every few days someone is chewing on the shirt. I love it!!!
