Ted not only hides behind his spouse and the kids, he blames them when he flees dangers – real, imagined and political.

Honestly, Texas would be a lot bluer if it wasn’t for voter suppression and gerrymandering.

The Red Guide To Political Deception For Men states that when hiding back there behind a skirt remember to keep yelling one of two things to fit the circumstances.

    First, “WE DON’T WANT SOCIALISM”.

Or (if there is an ongoing natural disaster)

“WHY IS THE FEDERAL BUREAUCRACY TAKING SO LONG TO SEND MONEY AND HELP TO US?”

My favorite campaign ad in 2018 was a cowboy saying about Cruz “In Texas when a man insults your wife you ask him to step outside, not join us on stage”…and yet Cruz won – and the polls here say pre-convict AG Paxton will win too.

Yeah, the illusion of manly Texans has pretty much been destroyed by Cruz, Paxton, and Abbot and county sheriffs picking on those unable to defend themselves.

Now I’ve learned how to get out of answering a subpoena. Just because he ran away, shouldn’t mean he doesn’t have to appear. But, laws are different for some people…… as we are finding out more and more.

The truth is that a lot of people don’t turn out to vote in their own interest. If they did, Texas would be blue.

For those who don’t get it, Paxton tweeted that he was “protecting his family” when he had his wife start the car, so he could run out the side door & flee from someone trying to serve him with papers to testify in court. Yes, that’s the same wife Ken Paxton cheated on.

“I love being with her. She’s like my psychiatrist. I’ve never seen a psychiatrist, but if I did, I’m sure it would not be as good as this, right?”— Trump to staffers, on being interviewed by NYT reporter Maggie Haberman for her forthcoming book
