Sad but soon to be true.

I sincerely hope that the orange mistake cannot run because criminal convictions prevent that. As for Biden, well, he’s better than I thought he’d be.

Check the Constitution . We are a Republic. Also the founders did not trust pure democracy. Check John Adams quote about democracies murdering themselves, and the quote about democracies lasting until people can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury.

This was wonderful! And, whatever happens, you’ve certainly got the cruelty part right.

desantis is Italian for cruel bahstahd (can’t say the word, A.I. will block me. sad.)

bahstahd An illegitimate offspring, also, without honor or decency, greedy, avaricious, pusillanimous, vile, petty, untrustworthy, two faced, yellow belly, a waste of a human life.

This is another reason why Jack has one of those Pulitzer thingies.

I would give this one a mild "like’ except that the very thought of this kind of 2024 scenario makes me sick to my stomach.

Note to those who doubt Ohman’s credentials as a “Left-Side” cartoonist (as some are wont to do): While his depiction of Newsom isn’t particularly flattering, it’s in a spirit of “Gavin, I’m on your side but c’mon…”

Jack Ohman rarely passes up an opportunity for rough play, but he reserves his savagery for the likes of DeSantis.

Although Mr. DeSantis’ alleged election-day thoughts are appropriate, I believe they need to add “If I won, it was fair and square and legitimate. If I lost, the Democrats cheated. There’s evidence, but I left it in my other pants.”

Does Mr Newsom really talk like that?
