What could possibly make anyone care? I mean, what if she was green or blue or purple? Would racists still be racist about it? Paint her like a Psychedelic Wrasse and see what they say.

Since the stories of mermaids probably came from the Dugong a white one is the wrong one!

And let us not forget Potato Head dolls, much less Sesame Street characters.

There is a type of whiteness, of bias toward all things that should, could and only can be white, dare say I certain amount of bigotry by certain white people (who can be very nice to POC in normal interactions) BUT who don’t ever want to accept CHANGE, that is so ever disappointing.

    A) It’s fictionB) All theater, all drama, all humor is derived from earlier civilizationsC) It’s okay, Walt Disney nor Hans Christen Anderson are going to spin in their graves if a POC (Person of Color) serves in a role, and if they did, that’s okay too

She’s right about them being “grown men”, but only in the physical sense – mentally, they are basically mewling two-year old “crapping-in-their-pants” babies and so should be avoid if at all possible.

Have I missed something here? Is it only “men” who are racist? And who complain? What about all those women who complained so much about men doing “men things” that now we have more and more “strong, tough, competent” females in more and more films where THEY are the stars, in ways that would almost never be true to real life. Yawn
