It is hard to believe that this is necessary. When I was about 11, before Roe v Wade, I remember that two of my classmates (Catholic school) had older sisters that died from “appendix complications”. Even at 11, I heard the whispers about that being code words for botched abortions.

Wealthy women always had the ability to get abortions – they could afford to travel or they could find a doctor willing to do a “D&C”.

Pre-1973 the rich could always fly away to another country. The poor and the young had to pay the price of making a mistake… an accident. I knew a young h.s. student who died from a botched backstreet termination. Ruined her kidneys. The “father” suffered pats on the back from fellow males and being called a “stud”.

Nah, the Governor of California is opening his state for abortions. He needs to replacethe droves of people leaving.

I live in California and the state plans to pass a (state) constitutional amendment protecting the right to an abortion, and to help (at least providing a website for) those outside CA seeking one. This travel thing Clay drew is going to be real in many different forms.
