My cat of almost 21 years (RIP) once laid down on my sleeping mom’s chest, facing her, with eyes wide open. The first thing mom saw in the dark when she woke up was two giant green eyes. It…didn’t go well.
When my big kitty get hungry at 5 am & don’t get up, he walks over & tackles my little kitty. Then with all the fighting & yowling going on, my dog starts to bark. Then I HAVE to get up to stop all the mayhem! Every. Darn. Morning. I’d rather have one sleeping on my head pls.

I go through this every morning …..he either jumps on the bed, taps me on the nose or jumps up on the dresser then pounces back on the bed!

Yeah, my mom had one that would sit next to her head and very gently tap her nose until she woke up. Claws in, of course.

Right now, for me, it’s a puppy.
And his cold wet nose in my ear.

“Actually, I just wanted a comfortable place to hang out. If I were hungry, you’d find me downstairs, tearing up the kitchen.”
Reason #379 why I don’t have pets.
