Unfortunately, that “D” remains on the Report Card and is relived every quarter, no matter what the other grades are. Third grade for me. I don’t remember what subject it was, but I remember the D.
When I was a high school junior, a deficiency notice in English was sent home which my dad read. He asked me, " what’s this about you could get a D in English?" I said, “I ain’t gonna get no D in English”. He about fell off his chair laughing! And I didn’t get a D either. SEE?
