    I’ve shown a lot of comics to a lot of people

    Too many words and it’s more likely they won’t be interested

    I don’t mind “wordy” comics. But the font and font size are important. Some fonts don’t work well when there is a lot of verbiage. Also, sometimes a comic is compressed to a really small size. That can make it impossible to read on a phone and difficult on a small laptop. Don’t worry Lennie, TBP is fine!

    I suppose there are people who think that the dozen or so words in a comic strip is burdensome, it’s hard to fathom. How long does it take to read 50 words? A possibly better objection is that lots of words rather crowd the drawings, but I don’t really see the point of that, either.
