I applaud governors of red border states for busing migrants who cross illegally to blue states and DC. Maybe blue state politicians will eventually acknowledge the need to secure our borders.
If the mayors of NYC or DC were smart, they’d arrest the bus driver upon arrival for human trafficking and impound the bus. See how many more busses Abbott sends.
That Jesus fella whose teachings christians pretend to follow is reported to say: “Whatsoever You Do to the Least of My Brothers, You Do unto Me” (Matthew 25:31-46) is apparently followed in their bible with: “Unless they are not white christian conservatives”.
If your brother becomes poor and cannot maintain himself with you, you shall support him as though he were a stranger and a sojourner, and he shall live with you.

I was in Guatemala some time ago and saw crowded buses loaded with people inside and on top of the bus. Didn’t look very safe. Is anybody asking the question about how this exodus of people to the US is affecting the countries they are leaving? Is it positive or negative?
Governor Greg Abbott first became Governor of Texas in 2015. From 2020 ( The Start of COVID – 19) on Governor Greg Abbott ALLOWED the following to happen!
If you want to blame politicians for the state of our immigration system, there are plenty of examples of both parties dropping the ball. However, in a rare bipartisan vote in 2013, the Senate passed a comprehensive immigration reform bill. It went to the House, where Ted Cruz lobbied his colleagues to vote against. It went to the chair of the proper committee, Bob Goodlatte (R-VA), where it went directly into his trash can, never to be brought up before even a sub-committee.
There have been nine years since, during which both parties have found reasons to point fingers at each other. But nothing is being done except to argue and feign anger.
This falls on the voter. Continuing to vote for people devoted to gridlock and failure of the other party’s initiative, regardless of consequences, is just too stupid and dangerous.

The best political stunts actually hurt when they land. That makes this a good stunt. Not correct, proper, moral or legal though.

Given that Waldo gets around to lots of places, migrant might be a reasonable description…

Half of the people on the bus are going because it’s a free trip to New York City.

Clay, you forgot to draw Snoopy’s brother Spike waving goodby. Any more Southwest caricatures you can think of?

NYC, of course, shrugs it off. All Gov. Abbott has done is provide a free trip to a destination many of those people were going to any way.
Besides, who wants to be in Texas when you can be in New York.

I wonder who’s going to harvest the Texans’ crops now; it most certainly won’t be an American.
