With the rantings of a small (albeit noisy) minority of hard core MAGATS ringing in his ears, it looks like Trump will make a run for the White House in 2024. But if AG Garland and the FBI make their case convincingly, they could yet find a way to connect DJT to the Jan. 6th Capitol storming. If Trump runs in 2024, regardless, he will likely soon find that outside of his hard core MAGA base he’s not all that popular these days. The GOP will likely go with a younger candidate like FL Gov. Ron DeSantis, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo or former UN Ambassador (and former SC Gov.) Nikki Hayley. There’s only a few years separating Trump from Biden after all. By 2024, Trump will be the same age Biden was when he was sworn in on Jan. 2021 (78).

Too bad the FBI kicked out his lawyers. That makes any evidence they find inadmissible in court.
