There’s always one house in the neighborhood that has all the snacks, and ours wasn’t it..

Maybe Spud’s line is an opening to a mystery: I need to be feed because mom’s not home. I cannot find her. I forgot where I buried her. :D

When I was a kid, my brother and sister each had a friend from the same family. They would come over and holler “Food! Food!”. Their parents never fed them between meals, so they would always come to our house for snacks. At least Spud speaks in whole sentences.

The “need to be fed” point can’t be stressed enough, apparently.

When my kids were little my wife would feed all the kids that came over. (we had a pool)Now that they are grown they all talk about the great times they had at our house.
