Lunch with a friend at local steakhouse. Nice place. Went to the men’s room. Large planter with a fern in one corner. Nice touch, but it was dead. All brown and yellow. It was plastic. Thirty years later I still wonder just exactly why anyone would decorate a restroom with a dead, plastic fern.

A green plastic watering can, for a fake Chinese rubber plant…

Sounds like he should wash his socks a little more often.

Plastic plants weren’t UV stabilized like the outdoor version and he’s got UV big lights everywhere to fight those flies
