I have to wonder how many people who enlist in the Military, or join a Police force nowadays don’t do it because of Patriotism, or a desire to help their fellow citizens, or intangible reasons like that, but rather they do it because it will give them an opportunity to “Prove their Manhood” by being able to indulge their fetish for playing with their long, hard…guns in public.

The irony (and the point of the political cartoon) is that a mass shooter running from cops on foot is white and taken alive. A black man running from cops on foot is shot 60 times.

Whether you admit it or not, there is a fundamental difference in the attitude of police when apprehending a suspect, depending on the color of their skin. Denying there is a problem just compounds the problem. And those making excuses for law enforcement behavior are, at best, ill-informed and, at worst, harboring racist attitudes themselves.
