If not there yet, repeat.
Hello. I am still out, but now my computer is being restored. I took it in on the 15th, they replaced the hard drive, and now the contents are slowly flowing back in—about 7 days worth.
Most online activities are too aggravating to try to pursue on a phone or tablet. I can’t paste text here from another application, or even another window in this browser, because the clipboard goes blank when I change windows. I downloaded a supposedly magical clipboard app to solve this problem, but it has just flopped on me.
I expect to be back before the week is out.
They may be in black and white, but whatever they showed me of my kidneys and internal organs had color coding of some sort. I don’t know what it represented. The organs weren’t solid colors, they had little square, pixelated areas of brighter colors that reminded me of old video games.
I thought it was ultrasound, but they could have been showing me old movies and I wouldn’t have known the difference.
I’m thinking of Clarence Thomas and his conflicts of interest, none of which ever kept him from showing up and voting with the pack.
Ultrasound is a lot less decipherable to the untrained eye. I got to look at some of my internals, but pretty much had to take their word for what I was looking at. I was impressed by the pretty colors.
If you think Hogan’s Heroes was a weird and creepy gloss on the war, you should see what they made of it in Germany.
“Heil Hitler,” wherever it occurs in the original, is replaced by some bit of absurdist nonsense. There are references to Klink’s cleaning lady, who cleans in the nude.
They pretty much de-Nazi’d it somehow, and of course in ways that can only be properly appreciated when one is fluent in German, as this one (me) isn’t. Nur ein bisschen.
I keep wondering what the magic number is, beyond which the GOP can’t cheat their way out of it.
I’m glad I don’t live inside DFT’s head. Too damn many mirrors, just for starters.
MR. WHIPPY! NO!!
And the hideous punchline is that after all that, they knock me out.
First time I had one of those was soon after endoscopy, at which I’d asked for a peek, and they put another eyepiece on and let me watch the whole voyage.
Ever since then, they give me something that puts me to sleep. I don’t want to sleep. I want to see the monitor, since they don’t even bother to record it.
She WON those states, and the totals were ‘fixed’ by the Gops running the machines there.
