I know we’re going through an event that has never happened before, but our nation is often in a state of turmoil. After all, every four years we deliberately stage a civil war called national elections. So far, we’ve been able to settle this war at the ballot box, but now even that is being threatened with certain legislatures being able to set aside the results that don’t reflect their positions. Fortunately, we still have one party that cares about Democracy, and it is called, oddly enough, the Democratic Party. VOTE BLUE.

The division is between those who hate women, and those of us who don’t. This is a very dark time for the United States.

Yup.. y’all might want to consider renaming that July 4th Independence Day thing. That concept died some time ago.

Just so you know… ranting about division actually CREATES division. This sort of cartoon doesn’t help.

If you really think division is an issue… how about you make cartoons that promotes unity. Draw attention to the people that do “reach across the aisle”

Not celebrating this year. Not a lot to celebrate.

Due to a shortage of actual independence, July 4th has been moved to November 8th this year.

We’re far from perfect, but we’re a whole lot better off than lots of other countries. I definitely wouldn’t want to be living in Ukraine right now. So, I’m still going to wish everybody a Happy Fourth of July, and remember why we celebrate this day.

Those ‘extremely proud’ to be an American drops to historic low: survey shows

A CNN report showed surveys about attitudes Americans have during the 246th anniversary of Independence Day reveal levels of pride have continued to fall since 2017. After Sept. 11, 2001, for example, American pride increased to 91 percent, whereas in 2017 it plummeted to 75 percent. It has dropped another ten percent in the past five years.

While “extremely” and “very proud” numbers remain high, the number of people “extremely proud” is what reached a historic low for the 21st century.

As soon as Trump became president confidence in the USA dropped to 25% and has not risen.
