The last several decisions of SCOTUS have put them right over into illegitimacy as far as trust in their ability to interpret the constitution and established law. So much for separation of church and state, Stare decisis, and privacy, to say nothing of the right to sue in cases of over-prescribing of opiates (and other similar cases.
What a court the past few days. First expanding gun rights in NY, then denying abortion a a national right and then completely fogging separation between church and state.
Today (6/30/22) SCOTUS ruled that the EPA does not have the authority to regulate emissions. SCOTUS says that right belongs to congress. I’m sure they didn’t totally strip the EPA of it’s power (or did they).
