Very old news. The green new deal is a goal and has not added 1c to the price of gas.

That’s right Gary, Biden controls the worlds gas supply. I do wonder why he doesn’t unilaterally lower the price by $2-3 a gallon and gain favor. After all it’s just that simple, right?

The truth is that Biden has approved lots of land for drilling—during his first year Pleas check the facts before drawing an untrue cartoon or making a comment about it. " New federal data shows the Biden administration approved 3,557 permits for oil and gas drilling on public lands in its first year, far outpacing the Trump administration’s first-year total of 2,658.

Nearly 2,000 of the drilling permits were approved on public lands administered by the Bureau of Land Management’s New Mexico office, followed by 843 in Wyoming, 285 in Montana and North Dakota, and 191 in Utah. In California, the Biden administration approved 187 permits — more than twice the 71 drilling permits Trump approved in that state in his first year."https://biologicaldiversity.org/w/news/press-releases/new-data-biden-slays-trumps-first-year-drilling-permitting-by-34-2022-01-21/

High gas prices actually fall into the long term plans. The best way to get funding to channel into renewable (alternative is reality) energy sources is to have the primary source of energy have a long term price increase. It will make developing other energy (it might not necessarily be renewable like they think) resources more attractive to investors.

Inflation around the globe is high. In the US, simply put, no President could have done better than our current President given the same conditions and circumstances.

What if all this financial pain actually led to less dependence on fossil fuels resulting in a cleaner environment for our kids and no more kissing the a**es of Middle Eastern and Russian murderers?

Would Republicans still whine about it?

    Without a doubt.

The price of oil is set by demand. If you could get twice as much salary for your job, would you take it? Of course you would. Well, the oil companies know that gas is really cheap, that even doubling the price won’t change consumers’ consumption of it. Perhaps tripling it will.

As you pump your gas—as always—and complaining while you stare at the price, take a look at that reflection in the glass at the pump. That’s the problem—staring right back at you.

If you don’t like the price of gas, don’t pay it. In the mean time, quit complaining. You’re the problem.

Biden’s 3-month gas tax holiday will reduce prices by 18 cents a gallon

President Biden plans to ask Congress on Wednesday to suspend the 18-cent-per-gallon federal gas tax until September, Fox Business reports.

Most likely republicans will vote no as they have no intention of helping the American people.

Republicans voted down the oil and gas price gouging bill, lowering the costs of insulin bill, they voted down veterans benefits and they voted down $28 million for baby formula.

They have no intention of helping the American people they just want to make conditions miserable and then complain about it so people will vote for them.

America hasn’t built a new refinery for decades. The new regulations are onerous. Many older ones have shut down because the cost of retrofitting is not worth it especially with Biden threatening to put them out of business. Add to that Biden revoking leases in Alaska and the Gulf. Not allowing new leases or drilling permits. Stopping pipeline construction. Stopping fracking to release oil and gas. Putting on more onerous regulations. Stopping banks from loaning money to oil companies. This is not a transition plan its a plan to destroy our economy and the nation.
