Propinquity; the feeling you get when you realize your working adult life has a greater kinship with the fictional Born Loser character than with the fictional Superman or Prince Charming characters
Stopped to get milk at a local store, the lady checking told me milk is going up $.020 tomorrow, I said isn’t everything, she said, “except my paycheck” wake up politicians!!!
Talk about sticker/receipt shock. However, Brutus is not alone in seeing how far his paycheck doesn’t go. In this realm, l am afraid that most of us are born losers…..
It’s called inflation Brutus, and I am not going to get political and name names especially since 75% of the population already know who is responsible.
When practicing inflation estimates, I recommend using exponents. Consider our personal groceries, the “executive” and others we are paying salaries to and buying the groceries for. No different than Brutus buying groceries for Corporate Prez. It adds up.

My weekly food bill went from approx. $55 last year to $75 this year. I’m a single male who eats out most of the time.

Good thing he is walking or he would use it all up buying gas on the way home.

I had to buy gas and groceries on the same day. That overtime came in handy.

“Creator” either does his own shopping or listens to his Significant Other. My money is on the first option as being the most likely to happen… : )

“Prosperity in a bear market” is a contradiction in terms.
