I feel for your friend. I’m about to embark on a month long enforced work out regimen. They are replacing the elevator in the apartment building where I live and I will have to descend or climb the 6 flights of stairs from and to my apartment multiple times per day.
Definitely not important compared to what the Ukrainians are going through but still a disruption to my life.
a former abode was supplied by a flowing artesian well. best water i’ve ever tasted. we awoke one morning to find that our supposedly everlasting water supply had stopped. i hacked through a couple hundred meters of high weeds and found the well’s tank full of water. inside the pipe from the well i found a dead, very swollen frog…
