I’m afraid that Br. Fabio is in the wrong vocation; he’s as opposite of Br. Leo as can be!
Notice Br. Leo standing on his tiptoes to reach the bird feeders. ’Twould be no problem for Br. FullofIt if he were more observant (see panel 1).
I missed the meeting with the Pope on May 16.
Neither the 16th nor the 19th showed up. Just happen to realize that today, the 21st and checked it out.
That’s a lot to digest today
I don’t think Fabio has time to be Leo.
Fabio is “of” the World, while Leo is “in” the world, not a resident, but a sojourner. It sounds subtle, but it’s actually a profound difference.
A millennial religious brother?
Brother Fabio is not a St.Francis type?
I’m wondering if the provincial couldn’t handle ‘Fab’ and thought maybe Leo could teach him humility.
I think it’s also interesting that even the Pope couldn’t overrule the provincial, and maybe teaches us a lesson about the papacy.
