You know, back in the day, around the early 50’s, as an infant I was fed a formula of one part evaporated milk and three parts water. So were many baby boomers and we turned out alright. Now, they say that’s a bad idea. That baby formula is more than that for a healthy baby. Or, so say the people that sell the formula.
It’s Biden’s fault. He should have ordered the FDA to look the other way, nationalized Abbot Labs and forced them to reopen to produce baby formula even though it was potentially contaminated.
If Trump were still in the White House (He’s still president but was wrongfully kicked out) we would not have a shortage, gas would be $1.00 per gallon, inflation would not exist and not a single cockroach would cross our borders. Just believe it because it’s what you want to believe.
Many years ago after the twins were born my wife was blessed with excess milk. She joined a milk bank and made donations for a while. Milk banks are still around and should be used and supported at this, and at all, times.
2 of the babies that got sick was due to a shortage of the usual formula that they used and having to substitute with a different formula. Those 2 babies have digestive issues, hence the special formula. When that wasn’t available the parents gave them a regular formula from Abbot. The formula wasn’t tainted, it was just not acceptable to the poor babies’ digestive system.
This is very much sounding like the Toyotas that mysteriously accelerated.
It’s a pity young parents today are so helpless that they are unable to concoct such a simple recipe as baby formula. For goodness sake, folks, look up a recipe online – it’s only 3-4 readily available and easily combined ingredientsl
The house voted on a bill to allocate $28 million dollars to provide emergency funding to alleviate the shortage. ONE HUNDRED NINETY TWO GQP voted against. After spending how long whining and wailing about Dems starving babies?
It’s fun to listen to Republicans blame Biden, abandoning small government principles and market-based solutions. Can the Department of Baby Formula be far behind?

Matt Gaetz thinks that using “government assistance” for parents to buy baby formula should take back seat to “Hard-working” Americans (like him).
GOP in action again. “Let them eat cake.”

192 Republicans vote against bill to ease baby formula crisis: they are only infants and not fetuses so they can starve. That’s being PRO- LIFE. MAGA.
