The RQP members of Congress are going to excruciating lengths to avoid saying that guns are the main reason we are #1 in the world in mass shootings and that those “incidents” are increasing, now over 2 per day.(mass murders are now so appallingly common that they barely appear in local news stories, yet make headlines around the world-civilized countries are unable to understand the US love affair with and worship of guns)
Because good dads want their daughters to have a fair shot at life. And they want their sons to have the freedom to be good dads. It’s really not as nefarious as you want to believe.

I honor, respect and care for my Dad. I try hard to be an example to my sons as to how a man should treat other people. They are raising good, strong, happy kids.
