There’s no way in HELL that I’d buy a book from someone who chose to work for that … mistake. I guess we’ll see how many people would rather spend money so they can rub their hands together and gloat about anecdotes of how awful he actually was. Me, I’m perfectly satisfied with the public record about how awful he actually was.

It’s absolutely unfair to expect any Republican to be motivated by anything other than money or power.

And sure as Hell, not by patriotism, love of country or any of that stuff.

It seems so many of the Last Occupants appointees are coming out with these books telling you what we knew all along, yet they didn’t have the guts to say when he was in the White House. I’d call it being complicit and an accessory.

All these men writing these books, should be arrested for obstruction of justice. If they knew how dangerous it was to have Trump as president, they should have used their positions to remove him from office when it would have made a difference. If they had done so, there would not have been an insurrection on January 6th. Perhaps the proceeds from these books should go to paying for the damage to the Capital, at the very least.

Anyone that had to work directly for that idiot deserves the right to cash on in on what they had to deal with. Trump should at least be good for something.

It’s very rare for me to find anyone in any election cycle that I really want to vote for, but most of the time I can easily find a few I want to vote against. I admit that constantly being forced to choose the lesser of two evils is what’s destroying our Republic.

Brilliant. Did you notice that all of Trump’s idiots waited until they were fired or quit before telling all in a ‘book’? Never mind about the country, just so they could get their $$$’s.

Esper reveals what disgusted him about Trump’s Camp David meeting with the Taliban

Then Trump stopped everyone cold. “I want to meet with the Taliban” here in Washington, he decided.

Esper described stunned silence as the officials all looked at each other trying to figure out if the president was joking. He was serious.

“Trump asked Pence what he thought, to which the vice president rightly cautioned that we give the idea more thought. Trump then said he wanted to meet with Afghan president Ghani too, proposing separate meetings in D.C. with him and the Taliban leadership. So, we can meet with the Taliban but not congressional leadership? I thought disgustedly.”

Trump began dreaming of the talking points and how it would appear in the press.

“Trump would often look up into the air, chin raised, as he searched for the right words, then drop his head, and say, ‘How about . . . ‘The president has agreed to a meeting’’ and then, ‘Wait, wait, . . . let’s say ‘he’s looking forward to the meeting.’’

No one in the room thought it was a good idea and some were outright disgusted at the concept of embracing the group that killed so many Americans on and after Sept. 11.

After the meeting, Trump was still planning the event, although Esper said he saw Trump tell the press it would be at Camp David and not the White House. All of the military leaders were to join in the event. Esper was disgusted and said neither he or Gen. Joseph Dunford were going to participate.

“It was not lost on many of us, either, that the eighteenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks was coming up in a week or so. This idea was terrible in so many ways,” he wrote.

Then the Taliban did a car bombing and Trump was furious. The event was off and the peace talks ended.
