I have accepted that I will never be able to fold a fitted sheet. It looks so easy in the videos on you tube, but I have decided that it’s not going to happen.

there is a trick to folding fitted sheets.

I have no idea what that trick is, but I am sure that there is one.

I realized long ago that I cannot see wrinkles on the sheets when the bedspread is over the bed. I also do not care about wrinkled sheets while I am sleeping. So, I use the fitted sheet as a giant pocket and stuff the flat sheet in it until needed. If I really want to impress someone, I can spray starch and iron the sheets (like that is ever going to happen).

One of our cats used to jump onto the bed while I was trying to put on the clean sheet and he’d run all over the bed. Finally, I’d get all 4 corners on and have a lump in the middle of the bed.

I wonder if Mom is muttering “Sheet, sheet, sheet!” to herself?
