I live 25 miles from the capital city and it takes me 30 minutes on average to get there. My brother lives 15 miles away and it takes him 45 minutes. I have quick access to a highway, he doesn’t.
Other cartoonists have little shops on gocomics. I’ve gotten several things from Ten Cats. I wish we could buy the house flags from this strip. I would buy most of them. I tried making my own once, and it did not go well. Which was odd because I can sew and quilt.
It took us 3 hours to get to the beach we like about 30 miles from us yesterday. All city driving, no direct highway access. Must have hit 100 red lights. Construction still ongoing since the beginning of time.
Hadn’t been there since last summer – so much of the beach has washed away that at high tide, the gulf comes right up to the dunes now. The county had to build new stairs down to the water too.

Just make sure that you guys use the facilities before you leave…you don’t want to be stuck in traffic and have the need to go!
